...and along came concrete piers

Well, this is going to be bloody boring at this rate!!!  I watch as houses around me are moving at lightning speed and 11 days from official start I have some holes in the ground filled with concrete - yipee for me!!  But gee, look at that view!

Don't worry. We started very, very slowly as well. I think the slab was poured 3 weeks after site scrape.... then it went very quickly to lock up.... then it slowed down again. lol

Actually, is the house next door to you PD as well? I noticed they were boxed up. Did they pour your piers when they did that slab? That's how they worked us.... they did our piers the same day they did the slab for the Marriott on the corner.

Guess it works out a lot easier logistically to do it the same day. You probably have the same slab crew as us as well.

Thanks Jo, I really think you are going to be therapy for me!! As for the next door neighbours, I think they may be PD as we are sharing their security fence with us - need to take that up with admin (yay!) as I am sure we are both paying for that 50m!

The people that bought that block were in the sales office when we were there one day. Assuming that the sale went through, they are really nice people with a young daughter. Your girls will be wrapped!

I wonder what design they are building. lol Sticky beak I am. lol
