It's that time of year and not a lot happening. How on earth do these tradies put food on their table? Apparently shut down is until mid Jan with the build picking up slowly by the end of Jan - are you for real?!!! Apparently so...

Things should start to pick up well and truly after Australia Day. Well until Easter that is then there will be another week off.

HI I was just reading through your bog after finding it on homeone! It sure is testing this house building malarkey isnt it! We have had similar problem to you with our mortar but they did an ironed joint instead of raked so had to knock down and start again! Even after all the sneaky tactics to get us to stick with it we wanted it right and it put us back about 3 weeks! Anyway Im just wondering how long your shut down was over christmas as our build will fall over xmas too and Im freraking out about weeks and weeks of nothing!!! Im desperate to get in asap!!!
